I’ve been obsessed with candles since I was a kid. My mother would light them at night when all work was done and it was time to unwind. We weren’t the richest family, yet we were able to enjoy all the luxury and ambiance that candles offer.

As an adult, I, like everyone else, thought that “candles” were synonymous with Bath&Body Works (or They Who Shall Not Be Named as I call them). I started doing small reviews of my Bath&Body Works hauls on my Instagram stories during the plague of 2020. Little did I realize how corrupt and toxic that company is, so I turned my reviews to small candle businesses.

I started a candle review YouTube show in 2020 called “Candle the Truth” and started to educate myself on scents, wax, and how candles should properly be made. I loved reviewing these candle companies and immersing myself into that community. I still make silly candle memes (that are also Bravo themed) on that IG page- @candlethetruth

I enjoyed reviewing candles, but I also started to have the itch to create my own candle-verse. Thus, Aware Wolf Candles was born. I thrive in the spooky world, where the leaves turn gold and crisp and the goblins and wolves come out to play. I also appreciate a gorgeous floral scent, a deep musk, or a light citrus moment. Thats why I work hard to make sure I provide the best scents for any season.

I pride my company on the fact that all candles are made with non toxic soy wax. I want every customer to feel like they can safely burn a candle in their space, without sacrificing a bold scent. And even though each candle is handmade, I keep my prices as low as possible, so that everyone, despite financial status, is able to afford the luxury and ambiance they deserve.
